AP Chemistry
AP Chemistry follows the College Board Advanced Placement guidelines. This course will prepare students for the AP exam in the spring for which the student may receive college credit. Concepts presented include inorganic and organic chemistry, reaction rates, and thermodynamics.
Materials Required for class include:
* Request a textbook for home - Chemistry, Zumdahl & Zumdahl, 5th Ed
* Carbonless Lab Notebook, ISBN: 1-930882-74-2 Edition SPI, Author: Hayden-McNeil
Available at college bookstores for around $15
* Chemical proof / splash proof goggles are provided by district, but it is HIGHLY recommended for students to purchase their own to keep in the lab.
